Who We Are
ArthaVault ("we", "our", "us") is a personal finance application owned and operated by BNS Design Solutions Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15561955, VAT No. GB469879992) with registered office at 1 Hengrove Farm, Hengrove Farm Lane, Bristol BS14 9DD. ArthaVault is a trading name and product of BNS Design Solutions Limited. BNS Design Solutions Limited is the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR. What Data We Collect
We collect account data (email and encrypted password), financial data you choose to save (budgets, net worth, expenses), device data for crash diagnostics, and aggregate usage data if you opt in to analytics.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data exclusively to provide and improve the ArthaVault service, authenticate your account securely, restore your financial data across devices, and diagnose crashes. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Supabase is ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant. All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or higher.
Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Sub-processors: Supabase Inc. (database and authentication, EU-hosted) and Expo (app delivery only, no personal data shared).
Your Rights Under UK GDPR
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data, and the right to object to processing. Email privacy@arthavault.app to exercise any of these rights. We will respond within 30 days.
Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data from the Settings screen at any time. All data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If your account is inactive for 24 consecutive months, we will notify you before deleting it.
Cookies & Tracking
The native mobile app does not use cookies. The web version uses session storage only — no persistent tracking cookies are used.
Children's Privacy
ArthaVault is not directed at children under 18. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact privacy@arthavault.app.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes we will notify you via the app and require re-acceptance. The "last updated" date below always reflects the current version.
